Who is responsible for your data?
Tre stjärnor Handelsbolag (Swedish reg. no. 969756-1067) is the data controller for threecoursemenus.com and trerätters.se. If you have questions about how we handle personal data, or want to exercise any of your rights, email us at info@treratters.se.
The newsletter
When you sign up for the newsletter we store your email address, the language you signed up in and when you signed up. We only use this to send you the newsletter.
- Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email or by emailing us.
- How long: until you unsubscribe. Your data is then deleted immediately.
- Who else receives it: the emails are sent through an email service that processes your address on our behalf and according to our instructions (a data processor).
Cookies and browser storage
Necessary. The site sets two cookies that it needs to work securely, for example so that forms such as the newsletter signup can be submitted: a session cookie and a security cookie (XSRF-TOKEN). They expire after two hours of inactivity. The session is stored on our server for the same period, together with your IP address and browser type.
Your settings. How many servings you want to see and which measurement system you prefer are saved in your browser (localStorage). This information never leaves your device.
Statistics and ads, only with your consent. If you accept it in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used and Google AdSense to show ads that fund the site. Without your consent no such cookies are set and ads are not personalised. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page. Google processes the data under its own privacy policy, policies.google.com/privacy.
Server logs
Like all web servers, ours logs every request: IP address, time, the page requested and browser type. The logs are used to keep the site secure and to troubleshoot problems, based on our legitimate interest in running a secure service. They are deleted after 14 days.
Where is the data processed?
The site and its database are hosted by Hetzner in Germany, within the EU. Google may transfer data to the United States. Such transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have incorrect data corrected, to have data deleted, to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in a machine-readable format and to withdraw consent at any time. Email us at info@treratters.se and we will reply within one month.
If you believe we are handling your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
